    Job Summary

    Manages the overall workflow and CITGO support of the Compliance department operations including Vendor and Customer Compliance vetting and monitoring processes, risk assessments, training, money laundering, and other Compliance related matters. Functions as the CPC Manager or back-up and manages the overall system administrator of the CITGO Procurement Review System. Develops and provides training to CITGO Employees based on CITGO's overall risk assessment.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree
    • 10 years of job related experience
    • Compliance experience

    • Microsoft Office Suite Experience

    • People skills, i.e. diplomacy, supervisory, leadership

    • Business automation skills preferred

    Job Duties

    • Directs the development and implementation of processes, policies, procedures, assessment programs, and training for the Compliance Department, including customer and vendor vetting, risk assessments, anti-money laundering, FCPA, FARA, Anti-Fraud, and other Compliance related matters.
    • Manages the overall workflow of assigned department processes and programs. (Example: Vendor Vetting involves the following:  Reviews documentations, assesses  screening levels, moves records between queues, and manages urgent vetting).
    • Directs the flow through the Compliance process for vendors customers that have potential issues  and that must be addressed prior to being approved, declined, or dismissed. Directly communicate to Business . Unit Management as required.
    • Acts as CITGO Administrator for all internal and third party Compliance systems. Provides customer service to CITGO users and controls the system roles for CITGO users. Updates processes as changes in requirements are recognized through a continual improvement practice.
    • Develops dashboards and reporting mechanisms for use by Compliance Committee in their role governance and oversight. Create Ad Hoc reporting and KPI reporting of for Compliance department. Recommends process changes based on reporting and monitoring activities.
    • CPC Manager or Backup — Overall system administrator for the CITGO Procurement Review System (CPRS). Schedules weekly case reviews, works with IT for improvements, updates procedures, prepares reports, and facilitates emergency cases.
