    Job Summary

    Responsible for maintaining mechnical, pipeline, and electrical/electronic equipment in optimum operating conditions. Responsible for inspections and documentation on equipment to meet State and Federal guidelines. Performs line locates and pipeline inspections. Performs oil spill response and clean up.  Trains less experienced technicians.  Manages company assets such as vehicles, tools, and test equipment.  Supervises contract work.  Maintains company's high standard for safety and workmanship.  Must carry a cell phone and be available.  Manditory on-call 24/7, nights holidays and weekends to support maintenance, operations and emergency response activities.

    Minimum Qualifications

    2 years of pipeline or oil industry experience. Proven trouble shooting and technical ability.  Electrical and Mechanical trouble shooting. Ability to evaluate and resolve a wide variety of problem situations.  Ability to train and teach other personnel.  Ability to perform multiple pipeline functions.  Ability to be flexible and innovative in thinking and working.  Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
