    Job Summary

    The primary function of this position will be to assist the Information Delivery Manager in developing performance management models and creating/maintaining/analyzing Mid-Office reports for use by management and business units on a time-sensitive basis This includes gathering requirements from the business, defining key terms, mapping out processes, and developing solutions for these projects.


    This position will understand and utilize CITGO reporting systems and software to aid implementation of projects and reports, and allow for in-depth analysis and logical, comprehensible result output.


     This role will liaise between Mid-Office’s Management, business units, and IT to ensure feasibility, value, and success  of the performance models for all stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • College Degree - Bachelors Level
    • Strong working knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot charts, is required.
    • Financial analysis skill is required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and experience in developing analytical models
    • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming
    • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret substantial amounts of data and to present them in a summarized manner
    • Proficiency in spreadsheet and databases
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with varied user groups
    • Demonstrated ability to work in an extremely dynamic and fast-paced team environment
    • The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is 5 - 7 years.

    Job Duties

    1. Map out key processes for the business. Communicate with the business units in order to understand their processes and project requirements. Assimilate projects between business units and management.
    2. Create and analyze financial and operational model data and compose the information for various business units given their criteria and needs.
    3. Work with Information Delivery Manager, and Mid-Office organization in the development and testing of Financial and Business Unit management models Ensure the models are accurate, meet the users' requirements, and attain benchmarks.
    4. Build and work with software packages (MS Excel, Access, BI, SAP Front End, Power BI, Query Builder, etc…) to develop and enhance business models as requested by Mid-Office Management and Analysts. 
    5. Collaborate with IT on joint solutions to best utilize SAP and BI in business projects.
