Function as a business partner providing strategic human resources related consultation and services to assigned business units, enforcing company policies and procedures, including Federal, State and local regulations. Execute HR initiatives and programs by effectively partnering with all levels of management and employees and by exemplifying a proactive, customer-driven approach to resolving workplace issues.
College Degree (Bachelors Level) in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or related field.
Must possess experience with and understanding of employment/labor laws such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, NLRA, FLSA, etc.

The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is: Three years Generalist or related professional experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Responsible for providing strategic counsel and support while promoting alignment with corporate mission and goals with assigned business units by consulting with management/supervisory staff to develop appropriate solutions that assist them in identification of critical issues and assist in the development of action plans.
Assist management with strategic planning for major reorganization efforts. Coordinate and assist business units in identifying staffing needs and appropriate solutions to those needs. Conduct demographic analyses of the organization to assist with efforts of creating visibly diverse work teams. Model strategic human resources plans that support the business direction of the organization.
Utilizing appropriate policies, procedures and legal considerations provide effective and timely interpretation and consultation to effectively resolve employee/organization concerns as well as ensuring overall corporate compliance.
Develop and maintain business acumen for respective business units being supported. Maintain knowledge of HR best practices as well as up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local regulations concerning various aspects of human resources.
Identify trends and recommend appropriate action regarding human resources issues which contribute to the promotion of a cohesive work environment.
Facilitate the process of generating appropriate documentation for various personnel transactions including job vacancies, new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, transfers, etc., in compliance with policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations concerning aspects of Human Resources.
