The Maintenance Planner intern will become familiar with the refinery organization and work processes while learning refinery safe work practices. The intern will work on various projects throughout the refinery under the direction of a more senior planner or manager. This position is a paid 11-week summer internship. A presentation covering all aspects of the internship experience and accomplishments will be expected at the end of the term.
The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. All candidates must be eligible to receive a TWIC in order to be considered for an offer.

Interns will be responsible for assisting with or performing maintenance duties which may include planning, scheduling, ordering material for scope per worklist and repair requests for daily operations or project/outages. Assist with schedule development interfacing with execution contractor to maximize schedule and minimize manpower and cost. Work with integrated team of Operations, Reliability Engineering, Process Engineering, Inspection and Safety to solve daily challenges of a safe and reliable plant operation.
