The Information Technology Co-op/Intern will be introduced to the Refinery and the Information Technology Department. They will become familiar with IT policies, processes, and procedures, and will provide assistance to technical projects and services throughout their assignment.

 

Position available Spring, Summer, or Fall 2024

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs and assists with hardware/software evaluations and implementations
• Hardware/Software troubleshooting and user support
• Workstation lease replacements
• Testing and execution of Windows 10, MS Office365, and MS OneDrive upgrades
• Custom application and database development, maintenance, and support
• SharePoint team site development, support, and security analysis
• Additional projects may be assigned, with regular status reports required
• End of term presentation expected

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or above (A=4.0) (Must provide proof of current GPA at time of hire to verify education requirements are met)
• Must have completed at least 60 credit hours (JR or SR classification)
• Valid Driver's License

Eligibility Requirement: The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration.
